Real Wedding: Allie + Sara
If we had to sum up Allie + Sara’s vibe in just a few words, we choose: fun-loving super-hostesses! These two love entertaining friends and family over mouth-watering food and adore creating a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere that puts their guests’ experience front and center. The way they went about creating their wedding brought all these elements together on a perfect August day at The White Barn in San Luis Obispo. Rachell and Allie’s brother went to high school together, so there was already a personal connection in place when we started chatting. When the couple needed signage for the wedding day, Rachell was able to create a selection of items that integrated perfectly with their Minted invitation suite and the table numbers that they’d created themselves with photos of their world travels. She also drew design elements from the bridal party gifts into the custom menus as another way to create a seamless design experience. Throw in a few more fun twists like flower-grandmas, custom-brewed beers, dance-the-night-away Nikes for the brides, and soulmate level love, and Allie + Sara had the celebration of a lifetime!
